Can Nutritional Therapy help you?

Nutritional Therapy is an effective approach to alleviate a wide variety of symptoms. When we fully understand how nutrients impact our bodily functions we can see how vital good nutrition is, influencing the inner workings of all our cells, the health of our hormones, the efficiency of our enzymes and the function of all of our organs. When the body gives us signs, in the form of symptoms, it’s important to recognise these as a message that warrants investigation. Nutritional Therapy looks at these signs holistically and uses evidence-based medical research to uncover the underlying cause. With this information, together we can formulate a manageable strategy to promote your health and bring the body into balance.

Meet Charlotte

Throughout my 20s and 30s, I experienced an array of health challenges. These ranged from mental health issues, hormonal symptoms, and skin disturbances. Despite countless visits to the doctor, I was unable to resolve these issues long term. They deeply affected my quality of life. Deciding to do my own research I began to approach these issues holistically, asking questions and doing research around the gut. With the help of a nutritional therapist, I was able to bring my body and mind into balance and manage the symptoms that have long been troubling me. This was extremely empowering and having felt first hand how I could improve my quality of life, I felt compelled to learn more and share this knowledge with others also suffering. I felt in control of my health and that is a wonderful feeling!

After studying at the Institute of Optimal Nutrition, in London, I set up my clinic in East London. I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist and a member of the British Association of Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council. The science is there to back up many long-held beliefs about food, and new and exciting research is being carried out all the time, proving we can help all sorts of chronic conditions and symptoms.
