Digestion

Digestive health problems affect most of us at some point in our lives.  However,  they can really affect the quality of life when they have been going on for a long time.  There are a number of potential drivers for irregular bowel habits and problematic symptoms.  The important thing is to try and establish the underlaying cause.  Fortunately, nutritional interventions are effective at moderating or completely resolving ongoing digestive symptoms. Our digestive tract is comprised of different parts including the stomach and the small and large intestine that all play crucial roles in breaking down and absorbing our foods.  Much like a set of dominos, if there is an issue at the top of the digestive tract, this will cause issues further down the line. Nutritional interventions address all parts of digestive function looking to support these processes through food choices and supplements too.  Often private testing can be very beneficial in targeting individual programmes but much can be done without testing too.
