What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy uses diet and lifestyle strategies to alleviate and improve symptoms. Many of us are aware of the health benefits of a varied and colourful diet and appreciate the importance of a healthy gut microbiome. The nutrients within the food are needed to perform essential functions all over the body and the fibres in fruits and vegetables feed the healthy bacteria in our guts. This is true for all of us but individualised diet choices can address specific issues and really make a difference.
I design personalised nutrition programmes with the individual in mind. The programme targets the underlying cause of the specific symptom that is troubling you. Symptoms such as digestive complaints, hormone-related conditions, indigestion, skin and fatigue issues are commonly helping as well as providing support for more complex chronic conditions such as PCOS, hypothyroidism, diabetes, chronic fatigue and many more.
I am a fully insured Registered Nutritional Therapist and a member of both the British Association of Nutrition & Lifestyle Medicine and the Complementary & Natural Health Council.
We have science-backed strategies at our disposal. So let’s use them to feel better.
